The Song ‘Bigger’ by Beyoncé – Preah’s goosebump moment

(text video)

“Hello, my name is Preah, and I am from Belize. Belize is in Central America, near Mexico and Guatemala. For today, my goosebump moment was with the song ‘Bigger’ by Beyoncé. This happened when I had my daughter, she was a newborn. I was a first-time parent and in the middle of the night when she would wake up screaming wanting my attention and I was super tired, I would just sing that song to her and it meant the world to me because I want her to always grow up knowing that she is bigger, and she is better than what this world thinks of her to be. She can be anything she wants to be. She doesn’t need to be put in a box and told what she is capable of doing and that the stars are really not the limit, and that she can go further and do whatever she wants to do.”

An Empowering Message

Beyoncé is a legendary artist known for her powerful vocals, influential style, and empowering message. In July 2019, she released her album ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ to coincide with the release of the live-action adaptation of Disney’s ‘The Lion King.’

One of the standout tracks on the album is the song ‘Bigger,’ which features African rhythms and lyrics that reflect the themes of the movie. But beyond that, ‘Bigger’ is a song that inspires and encourages people to strive for greatness. In this blog post, we’ll explore the empowering message behind Beyoncé’s song ‘Bigger’ and the inspiration that it carries.

The song ‘Bigger’ is all about empowerment, inner strength, and personal growth. Its lyrics encourage us to step out of our comfort zone, reach for our goals, and never give up on our dreams.

In the opening verse of the song, Beyoncé sings “If you feel insignificant, you better think again, better wake up because you’re part of something way bigger. You’re part of something way bigger, not just a speck in the universe.” This line is a reminder that even if we sometimes feel small and insignificant, we all have a place in the world and a purpose to fulfill.

Another compelling aspect of the song is its emphasis on self-love, respect, and acceptance. In the line “You’re part of something way bigger, bigger than you, bigger than we,” Beyoncé highlights the importance of embracing who we are and recognizing the value of diversity.

The song encourages us to celebrate our individuality and to respect and appreciate the differences around us. This message is particularly relevant in today’s society, where inclusion and diversity are crucial topics.

The words “Love who you are” are also powerful and stand out as a reminder of the value of self-acceptance and confidence. The song also emphasizes the importance of acknowledging and learning from our failures in the line “When you think you can’t, you’ll find a way.”

This reminds us that failure is not the end, but a part of the journey towards success. Beyoncé encourages her listeners to be resilient, persistent, and to keep pushing themselves forward despite obstacles or setbacks.

In the final verse of the song, Beyoncé sings, “If you’re feeling redefined, then you’re on the right track.” This line is a call to arms, reminding us that change and growth are essential parts of the journey towards self-discovery and personal fulfillment. It’s a message of hope, suggesting that we can always redefine ourselves, our goals, and our paths if we’re not satisfied with where we are.

The song ‘Bigger’ is an anthem for anyone who is seeking purpose, motivation, and confidence, and it’s a reminder of the endless possibilities that lie ahead of us.
