“Hi! I’m Kevin, and I’m from Panama. My goosebump moment was when I saw Yaima at the New Zealand Spirit Festival in March 2023. So, some background about myself: about ten years ago, I became very interested in alternative topics, you know, spirituality. I started studying yoga and practicing, you know, astrology, tarot, and things like that were very interesting to me. So, I started looking at these festivals in New Zealand, and I volunteered at them. I was working during the day, and then at night there were some presentations. Then I saw at night, the name I didn’t recognize at the moment, but then it was Yaima. When she started singing the song called “Gajumaru”, it was incredible. Just everyone singing at the same time, wearing amazing clothes, others very wild. It was incredible. It felt like a complete circle from 10 years ago until now. And it was the highlight of the festival. So that was my goosebump moment.”
