“Hello! My name is Juan and I come from Curaçao. My goosebump moment is the first time I listened to ‘Loveology’, one of Regina Spektor’s songs, which is one of my favorite artists in the whole world. I came across this video of her playing this song at the Kennedy Center, and I was very drawn to it because it spoke about love and how it is something so complex and even difficult to understand, and yet it is something that we all yearn for, it’s something that connects us all as humankind. I feel that her songs have this emotional, human, existential depth to them which make them very special and coming across this song that hadn’t been released in any of her albums was even more special to me and that made me tear up. I found it very beautiful!”
