(text video)

Hey! My name is Sailyn, I’m from Martinique country, and I’m here to talk about my goosebump moment with you all! My goosebump moment is related to a big music concert. Since I was a kid, I have been a huge fan of a known artist named Daddy Yankee. He has been in the music industry for quite some time, and recently, he decided to stop making music, and he also announced his last tour. When he made the announcement, I rushed to buy an entry to his very last concert, and that’s something that gave me goosebumps from the very first moment until the very last song he played that day! It reminded me of how I used to feel when I was a kid and how much I love this type of music, which is something great, and having the chance to see one of my favorite artists live before he retires, was simply something amazing and that everyone should be able to live at least once

Known as King of Reggaeton, Daddy Yankee was on tour supporting his final studio album titled “Legendaddy.”

The sudden announcement of the artist’s retirement created waves in the Latin industry. He is one of the superstars of Latin music and is known worldwide with hits like ‘Gasolina’ and the global sensation ‘Despacito’. The North American destinations of the tour include Mexico, Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Panama, and the USA. “Legendaddy”, his last album

Daddy Yankee’s latest album, “Legendaddy”, was released on March 24, four days after the singer announced his retirement.

According to the Puerto Rican, the production is the best of his career and has the musical styles that have defined him.

“I formally announce today my retirement from music, giving you my best production and my best concert tour and I’m going to say goodbye by celebrating these 32 years of my career with this collector’s item titled Legendaddy. I will give you all the styles that have defined me in a single album. ‘Legendaddy’ is fight, party, war, romance,” said the singer.

Daddy Yankee’s legacy

Perhaps one of the singer’s best known and still played songs is “Gasolina,” released in 2004, which according to a press release shared by his representation company, is the song that internationalized reggaeton.

In 2004, he released his international hit single ‘Gasolina’, which is credited with introducing reggaeton to audiences worldwide and making the music genre a global phenomenon.

In his extensive career, Daddy Yankee has sold more than 30 million records. The production “Barrio Fino”, from which “Gasolina” is taken, was the best-selling Latin album of the 2000s.

He was part of “Despacito” together with Luis Fonsi, and thanks to that song they were anchored in the first position of Billboard’s Hot 100 list, the most important of that publication, for 16 weeks. Also thanks to that song, Yankee has 10 Guinness World Records.
