It stirred up different emotions in me, mostly sadness because I found out that most of the people don’t listen to her songs anymore, most are forgotten.

The lyrics talk about how the singer sees their loved one in their dreams and how they know that person goes on because love never dies. The song is essentially just Rose and Jack’s love song of the film and that their love will continue, will go on, even if they are not with one another again.

my goosebump moment was when I heard the song “Last Hope” by Paramore. I was 18, I just finished high school, I had trauma from home and from school. I didn’t know who I was, I was lost, trying to navigate my way in the world as a new adult. When I heard the song “Last Hope” by Paramore, it was so beautiful. It’s about having hope and faith in God and taking every day step by step and not pushing yourself, figuring it out along the way, and having hope that everything will be better the next day.

James, but better known as Apex Twin. “Avril 14th” is a short classical piano composition that is very pretty, but also kind of sad and melancholic. What makes this song really special is that the original recording was actually not interpreted as a musician, but rather by a special mechanical piano that plays by itself called a disklavier. You can hear the clicks from the machine behind the piano keys in the original recording. This gives it a subtle, but unnerving, uncanny and yet beautiful feeling.

my goosebump moment is the first time I heard the song “For The Love Of God” from Steve Vai. I was learning to play electric guitar and one of my friends shared a tape with this song. I probably heard it 100 times. Even now, just hearing the first 5-10 seconds is overwhelming. In a world full with words that we can’t always trust, having a song so full of passion and transmitting such passionate love, it’s always something new that we need to hear.

Ben: my goosebump moment was when I first listened to the Christopher Tin song by Lou Yamoni. It’s a very beautiful song, it’s very very meaningful and it has helped me through so many moments in life and it helped me to keep on going. I love the song because of the composition and the melody and the Symphony and the originality.

Ivana: my goosebump moment was back in 2019 when I used to listen repeatedly to Lizzo. One of her songs is called “Juice”. Juice can not only mean a drink, it can also mean in other positive ways as a beauty. The beauty of the body itself means that we have to love our body no matter what size.

Adriana: my goosebump moment was when I heard the song “Iris” by Goo Goo Dolls. I enjoyed their music very much and the more rock style it has in it. But also, its lyrics. They are more romantic, but also about a sad story I feel. The music matches perfectly with the singer’s voice and whenever I hear it, I get goosebumps.

Tabitha: my goosebump moment is the first time that I heard the song “Somewhere over the Rainbow ” by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole. I first heard the song in the film “50 First Dates” with Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler and I just loved the song the first time I heard it, I did have goosebumps, because it’s just so soft and warm and comforting and really gives you hope.

Gabriela: my goosebump moment was when I was working and I played My Discover Weekly on Spotify. This very old song that I hadn’t heard in forever came up on the app and I instantly stopped everything I was doing and I saved it. The song was “Monsoon” by Tokio Hotel. When I started listening to it, I remembered right away why the song was such a top hit. Billy’s voice sounds amazing and the video is very well made and very beautiful. The song is very energetic and powerful, definitely gives me goosebumps every time I hear it!

Eliana: my goosebump moment is connected with the song “I Drink Wine” by Adele. There’s a part that goes “sometimes the road less traveled is the road best left behind”. This specific part reminds me that sometimes we have to take risks. And when we take this risk, the greatest achievements or greatest rewards are coming for us.

Armando: my goosebump moment is the song “Sleeping on My Dreams” by Jacob Collier. It’s a young guy that I discovered recently, he plays almost every instrument; guitar, piano, bass, and drums and he sings like an angel. He creates this wall of sound, of voices. Very harmonic and it’s not really any definite style.

Will: my goosebump moment is with the song “No One Dies from Love” by Tove Lo. Usually, I’m not into sad songs, but this one makes me feel…so much. Although the lyrics are kinda tragic, and about broken love, the instrumental is very vivid and dancy, so it somehow makes you wanna dance while you cry.
